PUBLIC NOTICE
MALAGA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE
Pursuant to §31027 of the California Water Code, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 23, 2019, the Board of Directors of the Malaga County Water District (“District”) adopted Ordinance No. 2019-1 by the following vote:
FOR: President Garabedian, Jr., Vice President Cerrillo, Director Castaneda, Director Cerrillo, Jr., and Director Tovar, Jr.
AGAINST: None.
SUMMARY of Ordinance No. 2019-1: The District recently completed installing water meters on all water connections within the District. As a result, Ordinance No 2019-1 amends the Malaga County Water District Ordinance Code by amending chapters 4 and 8 of title 2 of the Code relating to billing and meters. These minor amendments, among other things, change the due date for service bills from the 20th day of the month to the last day of the month, will require that all connection to the District water system be metered connections, amends the day meters are read and the method of adjusting accounts for meters found to be over or under reading water use.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE
Pursuant to §31027 of the California Water Code, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 23, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Board of Directors of the Malaga County Water District (“District”) will conduct a Public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 2019-1 amending chapters 4 and 8 of title 2 of the Malaga County Water District Ordinance Code.
